The Albanian Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization held the meeting of the Board of Directors to analyze the activity of the first half of 2020, where scientific and cultural activities have been at the center of the work of this institute. Present at this meeting were the founder of AIITC, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj; Chairman of the Board, Dr. Faruk Borova; Director of AIITC, Dr. Ardian Muhaj, as well as members: Prof. Dr. Shaban Murtati, Prof. Dr. Alush Saraçi, Prof. Xhemal Balla and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Reis Mulita.
In his welcome speech, the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Faruk Borova, acquainted the members with the order of the meeting as well as with a general overview of the activity of AIITC. The director Ardian Muhaj presented the 6-month work report, according to the relevant departments of the institute. He also listed some of the AIITC objectives for the second half of 2020, projects and activities that are expected to be implemented soon. After this detailed presentation, the members of the Board composed of well-known names of Albanian science and culture, analyzed the progress of AIITC research work for the first part of 2020, giving relevant proposals and suggestions, that aimed the progress of plans and future projects.
After fruitful discussions, the founder of AIITC, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, praised the work of AIITC staff for the realization of the expectations, within the scientific and cultural activity of this institute. He also suggested some changes that he considered necessary in the administrative structure, in order to receive new impulses. Following the discussion of these suggestions, they were approved by a majority vote of the Board of Directors and are expected to become known and implemented in the coming days.
