Representatives of the youth organization BESADER, based in Turkey, visited the premises of the Albanian Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization. They were welcomed by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Faruk Borova, and members: Prof. Ass. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj (founder of AIITC), Prof. Assoc. Dr. Reis Mulita and Av. Heral Saraçi. AIITC representatives presented the more than 20 years contribution of AIITC to the development of Islamic culture among Albanians. They also acquainted the visitors with some of the projects, scientific-cultural activities and publications realized over the years.
The purpose of the meeting was to create bridges of cooperation between the two institutions in several areas of common interest, mainly for the benefit of young people. The President of BESADER, Mr. Semih Şenkardeşler, representatives Mr. Sami Kocak and Mr. Xheladin Hajrullahi, gave information about the work of the youth organization and its purpose in supporting mainly students with scholarships and other services. After the friendly conversation, they visited the premises of AIITC, the studios of Radio Kontakt and the offices of the Woman Cultural Association. In the end, they received as a gift some of the latest publications of the AIITC institute.
