Attributes of Imam Bukhari:
Imam al-Bukhari occupies a very high position among the scholars of the prophetic hadith, due to the special care he showed for recording the most accurate prophetic hadith. He was one of the most prominent scholars in the collection of hadith. When he was little and had not yet learned to write, he went to teach with the scholars of Basra. After 16 days he saw the hadiths that they had been able to record and added another 15,000 hadiths he had heard. This testifies to his strong memory since he was a child.

Often, in assemblies between men, others wrote while he was listening. When someone asked why he did not write, they replied that Bukhari is a reference and others write from his memory. He himself confessed that he had memorized 100 thousand inaccurate hadiths and 200,000 inaccurate hadiths. When asked if he had any remedies, he replied: “There is no better remedy than thirst for wisdom and staying on the books.” When people asked him for advice, he said that in the prophetic hadith there is the answer to every question of human being. Bukhari died on the night of Eid, the first night of Shawwal, in the year 256 AD.
